Conferences

Bells can't be beaten as a venue for relaxed midweek business meetings and conferences. Our new Conservatory, is capable of holding up to 60 day delegates. We can accommodate 42 delegates twin share or 25 delegates single occupancy.

Our conference packages include morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, prepared by the chefs at MANFREDI AT BELLS. And when it’s time to take a break, you can always slip into the swimming pool, relax in the day spa, or just take a stroll around the grounds.

There are 2.5 acres of manicured gardens for outdoor meetings, or our huge veranda for group breakfasts and lunches, and our library which is perfect as a break out room or for morning and afternoon teas. Our bar overlooks the garden and is the perfect spot for the after work social schedule.

Stefano Manfredi and his team of dedicated chefs will tailor the menu exclusively for you. From a working lunch to a five course degustation dinner, we will work with you to meet your needs.

BUSHWALKING

The Bouddi peninsular is home to some incredible bushwalks and extraordinary coastal views. We can offer professionally guided bushwalks or set your team on their way, accompanied with maps, bells backpacks (filled with a gourmet lunch), and water bottles. Walks range in difficulty from the very easy broadwalk at Putty Beach, to the 7km steep decent walk of the Mount Bouddi, Bombi Moor and Little Beach Circuit. Walks can be tailored to your time requirements.

DRUMMING

The Rhythm Hunters are a physical drumming group providing spectacular performances and fantastic workshops. The Rhythm Hunters fuse together the thunder of Japanese Taiko drumming with indigenous music from Indonesia and Australia in a visually choreographed spectacular. Calm Water Fishing Charter This is a full day charter that combines the relaxation and beauty of Hidden Beaches & Coves Charter with the excitement of landing your own dinner. You’ll troll inshore reefs and headlands for kingfish, snapper, bonito and salmon. ‘Pretty Beach’ will take you to the calm waters of the Hawkesbury, a breathtakingly beautiful place with looming cliffs, towering trees and in places, almost manicured banks. Here you can try your hand at fishing for jewfish, bream, flathead and tailor.

Stefano’s influence began when he opened The Restaurant Manfredi in 1983. A decade later he was awarded three chef’s hats in the coveted Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide.

It was with the opening of Sydney’s bel mondo in 1996, that Stefano stepped firmly onto the international stage. The restaurant was awarded Best New Restaurant and Best Italian Restaurant in

The Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide and continued to pull a raft of awards including the prestigious international awards; the Insegna del Ristorante from the Italian Government and the inaugural IICIF (Italian International Culinary Institute for Foreigners) award. bel mondo enjoyed a reputation as one of Sydney’s finest restaurants and consequently became one of the most awarded and well known world class dining experiences the city had to offer. In 2002, the Manfredi family sold the restaurant.

In December 2007, Stefano left his urban sensibilities and the Sydney restaurant scene behind to create an authentic regional restaurant at Bells at Killcare. His seasonal menu is Italian inspired, based largely on the harvest from the estate’s lush fruit and vegetable garden and reflects his approach to values of sustainability in food use and production. Stefano - known in print as ‘Steve Manfredi’ - also enjoys success as a food writer. In 1993 Fresh from Italy, Italian cooking for theAustralian Kitchen was published and is now in its third edition. bel mondo beautiful world came next followed by Seasonal in 2007 and Seasonal Favourites  which launched in mid 2009.

Stefano is a regular columnist for the Sydney Morning Herald’s Spectrum and Italian magazine Voi Tutti and is often invited to cook, teach and present on food both locally and internationally. As a guest speaker and chef, he addresses subjects including Italian food, the history of modern Australian cuisine and the migrant experience. He presents at olive oil, coffee and wine tastings and holds active, hands-on cooking demonstrations throughout Australia.
