Killcare is located on the scenic Central Coast of NSW, an hour and a half’s drive from the Sydney CBD. However, it is just across the water – and less than 20 minutes by ferry – away from Sydney’s Palm Beach. The local area is typical of coastal peninsulas. It has scenic character, is appreciated for its extensive waterways & natural vegetation and it remains well preserved by a caring community. In essence – a step back in time to how coastal communities used to be. Killcare is on the tip of the Bouddi Peninsula National Park with seven pristine beaches and many well-documented walking trails around Maitland Bay, Pretty Beach, Killcare Beach and the villages of Killcare, Hardys Bay, & Wagstaffe. Enjoy typical Australian surfing at the southern end of Killcare Beach. With its Surf Life Saving Club it is a patrolled beach with the iconic red and yellow flags. Further north is Putty Beach, and around various headlands are the secluded Tallow, Lobster and Maitland Bay beaches.
The coastal bush trails of the Bouddi National Park criss-cross the Park, and arrive at all of these beaches. Walkers can enjoy spectacular views of Broken Bay and the Pacific Ocean beaches. All guests are supplied a map of these walking trails on check-in. Our friendly & helpful Reservations and Reception team can assist with the arrangement of leisure activities, including boating and tours of the local area.

Walks range in difficulty from the very easy broad walk at Putty Beach, to the 7km steep decent walk of the Mount Bouddi, Bombi Moor and Little Beach Circuit.
