Wedding Packages

 

Bells at Killcare Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Spa offer tailored wedding packages complete with garden hire for your ceremony, canapes, tailored sit down or cocktail menus, room hire, wet weather options and all table napery. (Not included is beverage cost, flower or decorative/styling costs).

The Conservatory is a beautiful purpose-built function & event room, available for weddings & special events. The Conservatory has been decorated in signature Bells’ style, with an adaptability making it the perfect location for special events, gala dinners and weddings.

This grand space is bathed with natural light, which flows through the large, white sash timber windows, and boasts views of the Bells’ established gardens and swimming pool. Decorated with stylish Catherine Martin wallpaper and designer curtains, the space has a soft and neutral feel for you to create your own look. It has a deck that opens out onto the main lawn area and, at the east, concertina bi-fold doors that lead to a private outdoor garden courtyard.

With a brand new kitchen designed by chef Stefano Manfredi himself, the menu offer at The Conservatory takes its lead from the adjoining one-hatted Manfredi at Bells restaurant. Manfredi’s cuisine retains its core tenets of simplicity and sustainability, with all menus tailored to suit the particular event.

EVENING WEDDINGS AT BELLS

CEREMONY

Garden Ceremonies can be held by the fountain from 4.30pm with all guests seated in The Conservatory by 6pm. Garden hire cost is $950 and this includes use of 40 white chairs, a signing table, table cloth and use of the grounds for photography. (It is not recommended to have the ceremony any earlier than 4.30pm. Check in time at the hotel is 3pm and an earlier check in time can not, under any circumstances be guaranteed).

MENU

A tailored menu will be designed for you. Cocktail Menu: $110 per person. Three course menu with canapés: $130 per person

BEVERAGE

Beverage is charged on consumption on the night of your event and is payable by cash or card only. No cheques. BYO is not available. The bar closes at 11.30pm with venue vacated by 12pm.

HIRE COSTS

Conservatory hire is $1,000.00. This charge is inclusive of tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, crockery, printed menus and service.

MINIMUM SPEND

Minimum spend for any event in The Conservatory is $7,000 (includes food, beverage and garden hire).

MUSIC

From 4.30pm until 6pm music is allowed in the garden. 6pm onwards music and bands are allowed inside the conservatory only.

CAKES

Our cakes are made by our chefs in the bells kitchen from the freshest ingredients. To prepare them properly, we need advance notice of 4 or more days. The cost for all our wedding cakes is $600.

ACCOMMODATION

For any night time event, a minimum of 11 cottages must be booked at Bells Boutique Hotel, for at least one night. All other cottages and suites must be booked according to the usual accommodation policies; ie: weekends are a minimum of 2 nights.

No children are allowed or catered for at Bells at Killcare boutique hotel. We can recommend local holiday houses and local hotels, where children are able to stay.

Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am. No guarantees can be made for early arrivals or late departures. These can be granted, however not until the day of check in, and according to movements on that particular day.

EXCLUSIVITY

If all cottages and suites are not booked by your group, there is a chance there will be other Bells guests on the property, using the facilities, at the time of your wedding.

If accommodation is required & booked, usual hotel policy will apply. IE: Minimum two night stays for any weekend bookings, standard check in and check out times apply and children are not catered for in the hotel, under any circumstances.

Exclusivity is not guaranteed unless all cottages and suites are booked by your group.

Deposits, confirmation & cancellations

To secure a Lunch wedding event  a deposit of $1000 is required.

To secure a Dinner wedding event a deposit of $2,100 is required. $100 per room at the hotel ($1,100) is allocated at the time of booking and the remaining $1000 deposit goes towards your event.

Payments for the reception can be periodical or in a lump sum. Our terms require 50% of the hire and menu costs to be paid 4 months prior to the event and the balance then due 7 days prior to the event. Full payment for each room booked, must be received 30 days prior to arrival.

Final attendance numbers must be advised to Bells at Killcare seven (7) days prior to the event. Any reduction in attendance numbers from this time onward, will be subject to charging at the full contracted amount.

In the event of a cancellation, a fee will be due as follows:

  • More than 120 days prior to the arrival date: - The deposit will only be refunded if the booked time is resold to another wedding function.
  • Between 61 days and 119 days, inclusive of the arrival date: - 25% of the contracted amount.
  • Between 30 days and 60 days, inclusive, of the arrival date: - 75% of the contracted amount.
  • Within 7 days of the arrival date: - 100% of the contracted amount.
PLEASE NOTE

* Prices quoted do not include floral arrangements. Prices quoted do not include any additional table arrangements, live entertainment, photography or audio visual requirements.
* The main restaurant will be open to the public for al-a-carte dining at the time of your event in the Conservatory. The Conservatory has a separate entrance, bar, outdoor area and amenities.
