I would like to extend to you all a personal thank you

To the Management and Staff of Bells at Killcare, I would like to extend to you all a personal thank you for the experience that Rachel and I had while staying and dining with you over the long weekend. Based on some of the reviews that I have seen and read on Trip Advisor I was a little apprehensive about the 'experience' we would receive. I am pleased to say that from the moment we checked in until our departure nothing was to much trouble. In particular Hayley, her floor staff and the Kitchen need a special mention. Rachel and I can be quite particular when it come to dining, with longer than standard breaks between courses (as dining is an experience with extended conversation) through to some dietary preferences. Not only did we have the degustation menu on the Saturday night but then also on Sunday night with short notice. The second night was enhanced through the thoughtfulness of the staff to realise what we had eaten the night before and develop a different menu. Additionally while we were having a pre diner drink Hayley took the time to explain that unfortunately the restaurant had run out of a particular wine that we enjoyed the night before and due to the long weekend were unable to source more. So thank you once again for a more memorable time that I know we will recall with fondness until we stay with you again. On a separate note I know that Rachel shares my views on this as she have posted a positive review on Trip Advisor. Another email will follow this one to make a reservation for New Years Eve. Thank you for a splendid night last Wednesday

Hello, We write to thank you for a splendid night last Wednesday which we spent at Bells at Killcare. There was nothing that we were disappointed in, accommodation, meals and service were first class. Thank you. We would like to say staff impressed us with their friendliness and helpfulness but would like to make special mention of Heidi and Shelley who waited on our table in the restaurant. They are two very pleasant and lovely young ladies and a credit to your establishment. Please pass on our appreciation to them. We loved Bells

Dave and I just returned from Bells and Pretty Beach House. Well, what can I say…? We loved Bells; a Hamptons meets Ralph Lauren experience, if I ever wanted my own little seaside cottage I know where to go, it brought back a bit of England with the beautiful hampers and the smell of wafting bacon in the morning coming from other guests homes! Manfredi’s cuisine was fabulous, catwalk stars of the sea and turf graced our plates until we waddled back to our cottage... I do believe that Pretty Beach has ruined us forever, I may have lacked the grace of departing easily wanting to stay for another hour, another day or maybe never leave! The staff made us feel like a family, and balanced host and friend with grace whilst the treetops pavilion made the city grind disappear. We were there for only 48hrs yet it will leave an impression of a lifetime.

Our stay at Bells was just terrific

Our stay at Bells was just terrific!!, in a beautifully appointed cottage, in great setting. Saturday evening, a 7.00pm sitting at Steve's beautiful restaurant, a warm welcome when we arrived, beautiful food, in a beautiful setting overlooking the Lawns and Garden. Great young staff to match, attentive and well schooled . Late sleep in's lovely breakfast's Sundays paper delivered, a lazy walk along Killcare Beach, a visit to Woy Woy. and a quiet drink at the Patonga Beach Hotel. Thanks for having us, look forward very much to come and stay again.

Highly recommend

Highly recommend this great little place for a romantic getaway. Great rooms well prepared and comfortable, fantastic peaceful grounds (a kookaburra joined us for breakfast), lovely swimming pool (not heated), great spa with a good selection of massages and facials, atmospheric library room for reading/relaxing. Good quality restaurant with an excellent award winning wine list. Service by the staff was excellent across the board. There is even a great map provided for local walks for the more energetic in the nearby National Park. You can also pop down to one of the lovely local beaches or Hardy's Bay.
