Bells at Killcare Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Spa – One of Australia’s most awarded boutique retreats – is nestled in the delightful seaside hamlet of Killcare, at the Southern end of the Central Coast. Just 90 minutes’ drive from Sydney’s CBD or a quick 20 minute ferry trip from iconic Palm Beach, Bells at Killcare feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The property features outstanding facilities such as The Conservatory – a light filled, purpose-built event space, and, The Library for more intimate meetings of up to 18 people. The Conservatory is capable of holding up to 60 day delegates, or up to 220 for a stand up event. AV includes high-end 6K laser projector and large format 160inch screen, 2 x hand held microphones, 2 x lapel microphones, bluetooth audio and surround sound.

The retreat consists of 25 boutique cottages & 4 luxurious lodges, spread out on the stunningly beautiful rural acreage. Cottages and lodges can accommodate up to 56 delegates (most twin share) or 33 delegates single occupancy. There are acres of manicured gardens for outdoor meetings, an al-fresco style veranda for group breakfasts and lunches, and the library could be used as a break-out room for morning or afternoon tea. The bar overlooks the garden and is the perfect spot for the after work social.

When it’s time to take a break, guests may choose to relax by the outdoor magnesium lap pool, find a spot in the enchanting gardens to enjoy a drink or read a book, or perhaps indulge in a treatment at Bells Day Spa. With Wi-Fi access across the entire property, spectacular coastal bushwalks, mountain biking, paddle-boarding and so much more, it’s perfect for any event.

Bells at Killcare caters for a wide range of meetings and events, including major conferences for large national companies and associations, wine dinners and product launches. From a working lunch to a five course chefs tasting dinner, we work with our guests to meet their every need.

The Library

The library is a private room suitable for small business executive meetings. The room opens out onto two veranda’s, has a gas fireplace and has gorgeous garden views. The room has wifi connection.

Sydney Oyster Farm Tours offer authentic Broken Bay oyster farm experiences on the spectacular Hawkesbury River at Mooney Mooney, 45 minutes north of Sydney's CBD.  We highly recommend Sheridan's tours as part of your journey to or from Bells at Killcare if timings of your event are tight.

2.5 hour on-water tour and pearl appreciation educational session back at Bells (POA depending on time and numbers)

On this tour, your group embark on an extraordinary adventure learning about the sublime & rare Australian Akoya Pearl. At a time convenient to your schedule, you'll board the pearl farm catamaran at Killcare Wharf where your skipper will immerse you in the story of Broken Bay Pearl Farm. You'll explore the incredible marine wilderness of the local bay, where iconic pelicans and abundant fish are a living display of the thriving marine ecosystem. The pearl team reveal interesting & intricate details of Australian pearl farming in a fabulous hands-on experience. You'll stop at the farm’s private pearl seeding shed for a live pearl harvest demonstration & chat about how these extraordinary natural gems are cultivated.

If a more detailed and longer experience is required, guests may enjoy an informative pearl appreciation talk back at Bells. Guests will see how pearls are graded and learn the 7 virtues that underpin the value of the farm-direct Pearls of Australia.

The tour is wrapped up with an opportunity to purchase exquisite pearl jewellery direct from the farm.

Hardy’s Bay is an idyllic region to paddle board, kayak or rent a small boat and cruise the local area. The bay is safe and offers secluded swimming spots and plenty of lovely vistas.

Our local beaches are home to many professional Australian surfers, who love to teach when they are not competing or surfing overseas. Group or individual lessons may be arranged for any level, beginner to advanced, in a non-judgemental environment. Lessons are usually at MacMasters or Avoca Beach and transfers may be arranged.

Yoga practice, catering to all levels, can be arranged for groups or individual guests wanting to benefit from this relaxing and restorative activity. Yoga or Meditation is a fabulous way for your team to start or end the day and can be held in the gardens, or perhaps even at the beach (weather permitting).

Our wine list has consistently won Three Wine Glasses in the Fine Wine Partners / Gourmet Traveller Wine List of the Year Awards, for over 9 years running, and, has also won the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide Regional Wine List of the Year Award.

Like all good cellars, ours remains a work in progress and there is plenty in there that our Sommelier would love to share with your group. An informal class, showcasing some of these gems can be arranged at a time convenient to your program.

Horse Riding, Quad Biking, Absailing, Kayaking, Mountain Biking, Laser Skirmish, Archery. Glenworth Valley is located at Peats Ridge, (off the F3 freeway) with 3,000 acres of unspoilt wilderness to explore including lush green valleys and ancient rainforest areas. This outdoor adventure park is conveniently located 40 minutes from us or approximately 1 hour from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Incorporate a group activity on your way to, or from, your Bells meeting.

The Springs is a large premium golf course, in a picturesque setting at Peats Ridge, not too far from us. The Shelly Beach Golf Club is also a spectacular course right on the ocean cliffs at Shelly Beach, approx 30 mins drive north of Killcare.

The surrounding Bouddi National Park is home to some breathtaking coastal bushwalks with beautiful coastal views. We offer guided bushwalks or we can set your team on their way accompanied with maps, backpacks (filled with a chefs picnic lunch) and beverages.

Walks range in difficulty from the very easy broadwalk at Putty Beach, to the 7km steep decent walk of the Mount Bouddi, Bombi Moor and Little Beach Circuit. Guided walks can be tailored to your time requirements.

Depending on the size of your group, we have a few different boats for you to cruise the local waterways, departing from Killcare Wharf just 5 minutes away. From luxury sailing onboard a large yacht, a true classic cruiser, or, a nostalgic 1960's timber cruiser, we have you covered.

Fine craftsmanship, graceful lines and a sense of nostalgia from a bygone era of yachting are all combined with modern equipment and facilities onboard.

Our guides live on Darkinjung and Guringai land (on the NSW Central Coast, Australia) who have ancestral connections to the Wiradjuri, Wailwan, Wongaibon and Ngiyampaa peoples. You’ll experience ancient engravings and rock art, hear timeless stories and totemic song/dance, feel the power of mother earth and the spirit of the ancestors that will ground your feet and lift your soul.

We are passionate about encouraging Aboriginal cultural understanding, awareness and unity in all communities, and feel privileged to offer these experiences to our guests. Walks vary from 1 to 4 hours in duration.

Perfection
