Celebrated as one of Australia’s hidden gems, Bells at Killcare is a secluded coastal retreat, perfect for stylish boutique central coast weddings. A relaxed yet romantic and sophisticated ambiance flows through the property from the gorgeous, classic Hamptons style cottages to the authentic regional restaurant & luxurious day spa. Only 90 minutes drive north of Sydney and situated high on the NSW Bouddi Peninsula, the retreat is surrounded by untouched National Park, many secluded beaches and pristine bays. All together the perfect central coast destination wedding venue.

The established and ever beautiful grounds provide the perfect backdrop for a delightful garden ceremony and The Conservatory is a haven, decorated in signature Bells’ style, with an adaptability making it the perfect location for central coast wedding celebrations. This space can hold approximately 120 people for a sit down event or up to 220 people for a cocktail style event. This grand space is bathed with natural light, which flows through the large, white sash timber windows, and boasts views of the delightful Bells’ gardens and swimming pool. It has a deck that opens out onto the main lawn area and, at the east end, concertina bi-fold doors open out to your own private outdoor garden courtyard.

Our professional team of event planners ensure everything runs smoothly from the first meeting, through to the ceremony, then the food and wine service at the reception. The menu on offer at The Conservatory takes its lead from the adjoining restaurant. Cuisine retains its core tenets of simplicity and sustainability with all menus tailored to suit particular events.

Lunchtime weddings are especially popular, with the sunshine bathing the lawns and gardens in a golden glow.

Evening wedding celebrations are popular at Bells at Killcare and offer an idyllic garden location, acclaimed food & wine, professional yet personal service and luxurious accommodation for guests. Evening wedding celebration hours are from 4.30pm until 11.30pm.

GARDEN CEREMONY
With the idyllic garden surrounds, our lawn is the perfect year round location for your ceremony & pre-dinner drinks. Garden ceremonies may be held by the fountain from 4.30pm with all guests seated in The Conservatory by 6pm. Garden hire cost is $1,100 and this includes use of up to 70 white chairs, a signing table, table cloth and use of the grounds for photography. (It is not recommended to have the ceremony any earlier than 4.30pm. Check in time at the hotel is 3pm and an earlier check in time can not, under any circumstances be guaranteed). Pool area is not available to groups and wedding guests are to stay clear of this in-house guest area.

MENUS
Cocktail Menu: $150 per person

Three course alternate drop menu with canapés: From $165 per person

BEVERAGES
Beverage can be charged on consumption on the night of your event and is payable by cash or card only, on the night. Premium and Classic Beverage packages are also available. No cheques. BYO is not available, under any circumstances. Our bar closes at 11pm with the venue to be vacated by 11.30pm.

HIRE COSTS
Conservatory hire is $1,500. This charge is inclusive of tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, crockery, printed menus and service.

MUSIC
From 4.30pm until 6pm music is allowed in the garden. 6pm onwards music and bands are allowed inside The Conservatory only.

WEDDING CAKES
Our cakes are made by our chefs in Bells kitchen from the freshest ingredients. To prepare them perfectly, we need advance notice of 14 or more days. $20pp

ACCOMMODATION
Cottages and suites can be booked by you and your guests according to the usual accommodation policies. Two persons per cottage and minimum 2 night stay on a weekend. We can recommend suitable local holiday houses, where children are able to stay as children under 13 years are only permitted in our Two Bedroom Cottages. Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am. No guarantees can be made for early arrivals or late departures. If rooms are required to get ready in prior to the ceremony, these must be booked from the previous afternoon.

EXCLUSIVITY

Exclusivity is not guaranteed unless all 25 cottages are booked by your group and the restaurant & day spa are closed for trading. POA. If all cottages and suites are not booked by your group, there is a chance there will be other Bells guests on the property, using the facilities, at the time of your wedding.

POOL AREA
We ask that all wedding guests respect the privacy of other in-house guests, therefore the space around the swimming pool is not available for group mingling. Wedding guests must be advised to stay clear of this restricted area.

MINIMUM SPEND & SURCHARGE
Minimum spend for any event in The Conservatory is $9,000 (includes food, beverage and garden hire). 10% surcharge applies to Sunday weddings and events. Weddings are not available on public holidays.

Daytime wedding celebration hours are from 11.30am until 5pm.

GARDEN CEREMONY
Garden ceremonies may be held by the fountain from 11.30am will all guests seated in The Conservatory for lunch by 12.30pm. Garden hire cost is $1,100 and this includes use of up to 70 white chairs, a signing table, table cloth and use of the gardens & grounds for spectacular photography.

A SPECIAL PLACE IN OUR HEARTS

This is a quick message as we are literally dashing out the door to start our honeymoon - but I just had to write and say our hugest THANK YOU to you, and everyone at Bells who made our wedding on Saturday absolutely amazing - we had the most wonderful day and cannot commend everyone at Bells enough for their wonderful service. The lady running the event did an amazing job and made it all run so smoothly, all the wait staff were lovely and very helpful in every way - please pass on our massive thanks to the chef and all in the kitchen - the food was absolutely delicious, next level - and our thanks for the cake too - it tasted and looked amazing, just as we envisioned! All of our guests absolutely loved the event as much as we did - and our thanks again for the understanding and re-arranging from our original date, given the circumstances. Bells definitely has a very special place in our hearts now - we are already thinking of spending a weekend there for our first anniversary - and none of that specialness would be possible without your amazing work and all the staff. A brilliant wedding

James and I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks for hosting and helping to coordinate our wedding, reception and accommodation. An Incredible Day!

Sorry for the delay in sending you this message - we have just got back from our honeymoon. Damian and I wanted to say thank you SO much for all your help with our wedding. A Serendipitous Hinterland Soiree

We wanted the ability to spread the wedding over a couple of days as opposed to just one so when we found Bells at Killcare it was perfect. We loved the fact that we could have the ceremony in the beautiful gardens of Bells followed by the reception in the conservatory without having to move guests from one venue to another.

A Bell's Bride

Our day was PERFECT! The weather couldn't have been better - phew!! Thanks so much to you and the staff at Bells for the part you played in our day being so wonderful. The staff on the day were fabulous, many of our guests commented on how great the food and beverage staff were on the night, how amazing the setting/gardens were, and of course the food was lovely. The floor manager was excellent!
