GIRRi GIRRA aboriginal experience SUNRISE WALK
What's on in Killcare
To celebrate National NAIDOC Week 2022, join Tim Selwyn, local aboriginal man of Girri Girra Aboriginal Experience for a sunrise walk through picturesque Bouddi National Park, to Maitland Bay, one of the central coast's most popular bushwalks.
You'll be met by Tim at Maitland Bay Walking Track and welcomed with an Acknowledgement of Country. From there you’ll be guided through the Bouddi National Park along a short, steep track, downhill to the beautiful Maitland Bay. Hear ancient stories on your way, and view rock carvings and significant Indigenous sites. As you reach Maitland Bay, watch the sunrise as Tim performs a smoking ceremony.
**2km round trip on a grade 3 walking track n Bouddi National Park, headlights provided.
