Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary is a fascinating place to visit. Established as a haven for rescued animals needing lifelong care and to breed endangered species for release back into the wild, the sanctuary is also Heritage Listed to preserve the Aboriginal cultural landscape of the Calga Valley. This is a place where guests can immerse themselves in the animals' world, relax at the Visitor Centre or walk the bush tracks, self-guide or engage a Personal Ranger. Located at Calga, a 45-minute drive from our property.
